hey guys I was given a couple of drums, and I don't know what kind of ford they come off of. These drums have the hub on the outside of the drum, and they have 2 ribs that are flush with the outside top of the drum. any ideas? Thank for any help Hal

Posting a photo would help. Ford produced drums with the hub both on the inside and outside for the years 40-48.

Thanks, Hal, but it was just my best guess. One of the pitfalls of trying to diagnose sight unseen is often being incorrect. Most of us "experts" have the advantage of being wrong more than once. We operate under the old adage that "even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while". As Reagan famously said "trust, but verify"!
