Topic: 1933 Horns

I got one working! The other I dunno... Looks like its been "worked on". So is there a company or person(s) out there that can rebuild these? I know I can buy new but I'd prefer the original if at all possible.

Thanks,
Chris

Bill Randall at The Horn Shop, in Rome NY (315)336-8841 did a nice job on the horns for my'46.

C&G (800/266-0470) lists two kinds of horns for your '33, 6 and 12 volts, both left and right hand. Horns on early cars and trucks were exposed to the weather, and usually the working parts were damaged beyond repair. Even if the coil and diaphragm can be salvaged, the points probably can't. Expect to pay about $150 each for high quality replacements. As these pieces are part of the front end appearance, they are quite important.
