Good morning EFV8 Members. Due to a breakdown in our notification system, the Security Certificate for the EFV8 website expired before we at Big Giant Media were able to renew it for you. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. The new SSL certificate has been installed, and you should no longer receive a warning message when you try to log in. Please feel free to contact me directly at john@biggiantmedia.com if you have any questions.

Before this happened, to log on to the site, I never had to enter my name, and my computer entered my password for me. That doesn't work anymore. Is the problem with the certificate the reason?

I noticed the same thing. Since it was back in 09 when I set up the password, I had to do
a little "scratching" to remember it.

First, you can get bad karma from having the computer keep track of your password.

But......you should get a box that pops up that says something to the effect of 'do you want your machine to remember this password'....click yes to that and you will (or should be) back to what it used to be.

If you have already seen this box and said no...then you will be typing your ID and password.

PC security is not that hard, but it is necessary to prevent the 'social nut cases' from attacking this site and you.

Take it from a person that had 375 different virus' about a year ago, and a $200 bill at the "Geek Squad".
