My '50 Ford F-1 Pick Up has these numbers stamped in the firewall directly behind the left hood hinge. What do they mean? P4NR1 Below is the number B7020. Also, I have been told that there is a paint code number stamped in the firewall. If so, where is it? Visit us at www.brewstercars.com

Don't know what your numbers are, but there were sometimes numbers stamped in the center of the cowling that included the paint code. Supposedly these numbers varied by plant, and some did not have any numbers at all. An example from my truck is SR1M23G663: S= Somerville, MA, R= 8 cylinder 239 V-8, 1= F-1, M = Meadow Green, 23G = July 23, Unit no. = 663. (The unit number is an internal plant assigned number used to keep up with plant production.) Richard
