How does one find an original or restored 36 Ford? What is the best source??

Modela60ctom, I would start by joining the V-8 Club. Many nice cars show up for sale in the V-8 Times magazine. You can watch the classifieds on this site plus there are various sites on the internet that have cars for sale. Here's a site that has a couple of 36's for sale and the dealership is owned by a V-8 Club member; www.memorylaneclassiccars.com. If he doesn't have what you are looking for let him know and he may get one on trade and notify you.

www.jmacsautos.com has two Roadsters and a 3W Coupe. They are located in Minnesota. No association with seller.

Thanks

A 36 cordoba grey fordor has been sitting on Hoosick st in Troy,NY for weeks with a 17,000 price tag. I don't have a name and haven't been by to see if it is still there. Someone in the V8 roster from the area might know more.

I have a Convertible Sedan 1936 for sale. Same family ownership over 50 years. Restored in 1978, driven regularly but sparingly since. Very correct and original car, many details done like 36 Ford book. Washington blue w/ wide whitewalls. aaca first junior at Hershey 2009. Not brand new fresh looking, but very very nice. Reasonably priced

Email me for add'l info.

Put an ad into fordbarn.com and HAMB http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/

Also write to each nearby local chapter of the Early Ford V8 Club (chapters listed on this site) and request an ad be placed in their monthly newsletter. Most of the time this will be at no cost.

You should also decide what model(s) you want. When I see an open ended ad I assume it is a dealer trying to make a fast buck.
