My guess is that since it has a Ford logo it may have been used in a Ford cafeteria.

Hi,What year would you think the Ford script/V8 logo is from?

Patrick, great find. I have one just like it.These trays were used in the Ford cafeterias at many of the assembly plants. The V-8 logo falls in the area of 1937. I believe that many of them were recycled during the WW-II scr*p drive. Hope you made a good buy on it. It's a great conversation piece.

I haven't checked on value of those tray in quite some time. You might check e-Bay to see if one is listed. Some time back they were $30-$50.
