Topic: WHAT ARE THESE

Dano    -- 10-26-2011 @ 10:38 AM
What's the proper name for these parts and what do they fit? The tags with part numbers are long gone and all I can see on the part is the Ford stamp. Overall length is approx. 57 7/8", hole to hole from ends is approx. 56 3/4" and hole to hole from top to mid bracket is approx. 37 1/4". Thanks for looking.

  Dan:

Those are rear radius rods. In an earlier post, it was suggested that you avail yourself of the
"Green Book", which will not only help you identify your "stuff", but actually assign part numbers that will allow you to market them. I could go out and crawl under my Ford and confirm the dimensions you have supplied, but the reality is that in order to move your cache, you probably need to do some homework on your own.

Many of us enjoy solving problems that newbies present in which we can provide some insight given our life-long experiences. Dragging out our Green books for research doesn't appeal to a lot of us, as our first priority is to our own projects. Having said that, I'm sure one of us can tell you which years they fit, and my main reason for posting this is to bring it back to the top of the Forum, where everyone looks first.

OK Stroker, thanks for the information. I will buy a green book so I can look this up myself. I really don't have that many parts but can sell the green book on e-bay when I'm done with it. Thanks again....
