Topic: 1934 Ford Car engine Pan

My left side engine pan is missing the front of it about 2 or 3 inches. I guess it at one time, it interfered with the exhaust pipe and someone cut the end off. I would like to fabricate this piece and weld to my pan, but not sure how it looks. Does someone have a pan loose from their car that can post a picture of the front of the pan. You may be able to see it on the car, not sure, thanks

Trying to post a picture for you.

Thanks Brian, but your pan looks exactly like mine. In fact, if I did not have my pan right here in front of me, I would say you have my pan, same color and light rust. If you look close at the front of your pan, (in your picture, it's the bottom left side of picture)you will see where it has been cut or rusted off. And I know they are not suppose to look this way because if you have the 33/34 restoration manual, on page 2-19, there is a picture of the pans and it shows that part of the pan extends out further than your pan or mine. Only problem is, the picture is to small to make out any details.

That is a 33 pan in the book. I will look at mine in the light tomorrow.
