Who sells the offset shoulder bolts used on '47 convertible top irons?

Have you tried Roy Nacewicz in Carlton Michigan?

When I got my '47 convertible, someone had replaced many of the eccentric bolts with ordinary fasteners. We never found a source of the correct pieces, and had to make them. Without them, adjusting the top is unlikely or impossible, as very slight movement of an eccentric causes a large movement of the top, particularly at the header. It is important to get the parts that hold the top to work properly before the top in installed. I wish I could be more helpful.

I bought the special shoulder bolts from Roy Nacewicz a couple of years ago. Contact the company at fordbolts.com or 734-654-9450.

I got my shoulder bolts from Totally Stainless. Excellent quality (www.totallystainless.com/).

Just be sure that they are, in fact, eccentric fasteners, not just fancy bolts. There are several sizes and lengths. I have the bolt chart if you need it.

Roy Nacewicz doesn't offer these eccentric shoulder bolts any more. Was able to order them from Totally Stainless who doesn't stock them but makes them up as per order. Thanks guys for your help, Carl
