My friend has a 38 Ford and the prop rod for the Hood is missing,can one of you show a picture of how it looks and where it is located under the Hood. Also do any of you have one you would sell or know where we could get one? THANKS----------SID

Sid, Have your friend pick himself up the 1938-39 Ford Book from this V8 club. It should show him how the hood prop goes together. As for your parts, you can contact the NOS department at Dennis Carpenter. They might be able to help you.

Bill, Go to the home page of this site. Click on Shop under Online store on the left, then go to Books. You should see listings for the 38-39 Ford Book. Every 38 & 39 owner should have one.. Ken
