sometime ago i posted about losing head lights .. i replaced the headlight bucket wires on the drivers side looks like it fixed that issue. head lights look better just not like modern lights. older picture . i also found that i had the high and low wires wrong. so that one light is on high while the other is on low. 100 horse running wild

I tried almost everything to get my headlights bright enough for night driving on my '47, and finally came to the conclusion that, even with good connections, they were still yellow. I installed a relay board to feed the headlights directly from the battery, and control it with the original high/low circuits. The headlight and dimmer switches, plus the too small wiring, just didn't allow enough power. Now, not only can I see, but feel much safer.
