Howdy, boys: Are '39 DeLuxe bumper bolts round or oval? The ones on my car are round, but I seem to remember they are supposed to be oval.... Much obliged, Mike Durhan

Hi Mike, The outwardly visible bolts were special oval head bolts with caps of rustless steel, part number 78-17908. While a bolt’s capped portion and its 7/16 - 20 threaded portion were cadmium plated, the 33802-S2 nut and 34908-S2 lock washer had a raven finish. Regards, Mike
