I can't get the link to work, but there is an article on historicvehicle.org about a shop in Warren, MI dealing increasingly with problems that ethanol in gasoline is causing to gas lines, carbs, etc. He echoes some of the same problems I've read here about others having. I've heard about a couple of the seminars he has put on but after the events took place. Is there any benefit to the product he suggests? I'd never heard of it.

Most of the possible damage is done to vehicles more than ten years old which have components attacked by ethanol, which is a powerful solvent. Ethanol can't be transported by pipeline because of the danger of corrosion. It must be transported by truck or rail. The danger to small engines, such as mowers, etc, has largely been ignored.
