I have a 1950 tudor custom deluxe this car was a want to be custom before i got it and had some body modes done to it. One of these was to shave off the tops of the quarter panels which were then filled with bondo. the rear part of the quarters under the tail lights still has the sheet metal that covers the seam which was shaved from top of quarters. what i am thinking is to weld in a strip of sheet metal on to the tops of these quarters to repair them so they look stock as they were. has anyone run into this when restoring these cars and how was it repaired?
