O K, I drilled and tapped (8-32) the locking plug on my key cylinder and pulled it out. Found the key code on the cylinder and now need a contact for a locksmith that can make me some keys using the code.Any recommendations? Thanks John

Leon Rowell 641-623-1956 You will want to send him the the door lock also, sending the locks will ensure the keys fit properly and work properly. Both the door and the ignition are keyed alike.

Before you spend a lot on getting keys made for an old cylinder, you might look at a replacement. C&G has them for about twenty bucks as 48-3686. They come with the required pin, as well. Ignition switch cylinders, in particular, get a lot of wear an may not be worth rekeying.
