  i fix fuel issue run great and drives fine.. i just lost my dash lights all outside lights work even brake lights. the pillar light work.. bad head light switch on dash?

  Possibly, but given that your tail lights work you should check the dash light dimmer switch, usually located on the bottom edge of the dash near the headlight switch. If it hasn't been used for a while it might respond to a few twists to knock the corrosion off.

  Those dash light dimmers have been a problem for years, even when new. I replaced the one in my '47, and it still goes dead every so often. They are flimsy, so exercise it carefully.

  you could soak the switch with CRC ELECTRIC MOTOR CLEANER,
drop the switch down and use a rag so you do not get it on anything else,
this should clean the contacts inside,
at the same time check the tightness of the other connections on the switch,,

  Be careful about squirting anything into the dimmer. It is a really fragile unit, and easily damaged. If you don't want to dim the dash lights, just bypass the dimmer. I did.

  yes i think i will by pass the witch or look for a loose wire. they worked last month. its something dumb. its raining here again.soon as it stops ill go to work.
