Topic: 37 pickup grille

We are needing a 1937 Pickup grille. We are new at trying to find parts. Does anyone have any advice on where to look to locate one. This is our first auto restoration and even though we are just getting started we are having a blast already. Thanks, Joy

Joy, run a want ad on this site in the classified section and also a want ad on the Fordbarn( www.fordbarn.com).
In addition you might want to check e-Bay in the parts section of e-Bay motors. 37 pickup grilles are not easy to find, so be patient. The big trucks also used the same grille and hood. Also check your local area for swap meets. Lots of old Ford stuff shows up at them.

Thanks for the info and will do. I love reading the forums. We ordered the book put out by the club on the 37 and can hardly wait to get it.

As said not an easy find. I spent 2 days working on mine. I had a metal shop bend the horizontal bars. Also looking for one in better shape than mine. Most have issues, but with work are useable.

Even though it may take a long time to find one what is a reasonable estimated price range we can expect them to sell for?

  A LOT!
I've been looking for one I can have plated.
Anywhere from $750.00 to $1,500.00
