Topic: 34 5W rear window

MICHV8    -- 08-15-2011 @ 7:48 AM
Year ago, somebody had removed the rear window. I'm trying to fifure out the parts and have a new wooden frame and roll up mechanism and the lower window channel plus the metal pan, but am missing the window side channels. Is there a source for those? Am I missing any other components? Kind of a mystery...Thank you.

Vintique makes the rear window side channels, they are available through most of the aftermarket suppliers. There is a rubber channel for the top of the window glass. There is also a metal channel that is attached to the wood frame at the bottom of the window channel one on each side the bottom of the Vintique channels fit into this metal channel. There is a metal rectangular cover for the large hole in the wood over the window regulator. The reproduction drip pans do not come with the mounting brackets that hold the pan to the trunk hinges on the rumble less car.

Thanks for the info...this one has a rumble seat that I just got working. Still scratching my head on how the rumble seat cushion is mounted, but I'll keep working on it.

The back cushion springs hang from hooks that are scr*w*d to the top of the deck lid (look for two D-nuts on each side of the top of the deck lid) and the bottom of the springs have tabs that screw to two D-nuts on the bottom.
The bottom cushion spring rear edge fits into two tabs welded onto the water dam, the front of the spring set fits over two posts welded to the floor.
