This is probably the first of a series of questions. I'm trying to replace the window felts in the doors of my club coupe, which I understand is the same as a 2-door. There is a peg, for the lack of a better term, in the window channel that prohibits the window coming out the opening. I have the nut and washer removed from the "peg" but it just spins in the hole and will not come out. It acts like there is a circular grove in the bolt where the bracket is. The window will not come out the bottom because there is a closed bottom on the front felt channel. Maybe I'm going at it entirely wrong. Any help appreciated. The peg you are talking about is also threaded into the channel. There should be a slot in the end of the peg to use a screw driver to remove. Might need a plier or vice grip to remove.

I've tried to thread it out, even pulled on it while turning. It just spins in the hole. I would think by pulling on it the threads would catch and begin to back out, but no. So I have an abnormal situation here?
