has anyone replaced the small rubber spacer/gasket on the outer edge of the face part of the tire cover? if so, how did you do it? also, how do you put the face cover and band around the spare tire on without scratching it? thanks bob

Not sure this will fit a 34 but I have a spare seal 18-3441 (repop) that fits a 36. If that's the same your welcome to it for $7.50 the post office charges to ship in one of those little boxes. I didn't use that because I had a "better" solution. That was to use a seal that's for the back window on a closed car. That fits over both edges of the disk and really keeps the disk away from the cover. If your not a "show" car this is a good solution.
