Topic: Free stuff thread

In the interest of generating more activity, I would like to try something that was very popular on a photography site I use. The free stuff is basically items we have cluttering up our shops not worth enough to really sell, but someone might use it for the cost of postage.

RULES: If you take something you MUST offer the next free item for the forum (you do not need to have taken something to post free stuff however). You can not resell the item.

I will post up the first item. An original Ford Deluxe hubcap, has some road rash but better than no hub cap, no rust. assume $7.00 postage.

That is what the classified section of the Forum is for, and would clog up the question and answer section, if that is what you are proposing.

I thought you wouldn't want to have a long thread posted in the classified section.

The idea is more of a fun thread of unusual or small odd left over items like one door handle, not like 3 rusty engine blocks. The goal is to keep it in one spot so people can check it frequently (hence more people online more often). If no one likes the idea I will drop it.

I think it's a good idea, Jim. I'll throw in a '38 Pickup grille. It's not in bad condition, but just a wallhanger for me. Pick it up in SF Bay Area. Zip 94546
