Hey Guys: By suggestion I changed my rear end & tranny gear lube to a Wal-mart 85-140. I now have a leak in rear end seal I never had before. Is the lube too light after it heats up? It only seems to drip after a drive and then quits. I have heard I should be using heavier.

That weight oil should be fine. Determine exactly where the leak is occuring. You may have to degrease the axle to find it. More often than not, it happens around the gaskets on each side of the banjo. Over the years, retightening often causes the gasket holes to become distorted, allowing a leak. If you have a leak elsewhere, recheck the oil level. As it came after changing it, it is possible it is overfilled, or the old oil was gunky enough to act as a sealer. I assume you didn't install synthetic oil, as it tends to leak in places that didn't do it before.
