I just found out that that Ford only made 127,260 11a models in 1941. I have a 1941 Ford Deluxe Business Coupe(original) and I'm trying to find out how many Deluxe Business Coupes were produced out of all the 11a models. Can any one help me? Thanks, Todd.

Woody, For 1941 Ford Produced 33,598 3-passenger Deluxe Coupes, Model 77-A, and 12,844 4-passenger Deluxe Coupes, Model 67-A. This info. is from the Crestline "90 Years of Ford" book by Georg H. Dammann published by Motorbooks International.

Ford made 689,571 41 Fords of which 12,844 were deluxe coupes with auxil seats. This is from the Early Ford V-8 club 41-48 book . Page 1-16. You can buy the book on this site. It is a real help is restoring a car

Carcrazy, thanks for the info, I know mine is the 3 passenger coupe with the shelf behind the seat. I never heard of the 77a model. Mine comes up as an 11a model and do you know how many 3 passenger coupes like mine were built out of that 11a model? Thanks.

Woody, Carcrazy has told you that your car is a 77A, which is the code for your body style. If you had jump seats instead of a package shelf, it would be a 67A. There were 33,598 11A-77A Fords built. 11A is the code for the year model 1941. Alan

If that is correct, just what is the model number of the 5 pass coupe? I thought the 67 series were 3 pass coupes and the 77 series were 5 pass coupes containing a back seat . I think the jump seats only went in bus coupes. Both series were made in deluxe and super deluxe. I think the 67 series were called short door coupes and the 77 series were long door coupes. They both had package trays. Does anyone have more info? Thanks Dick

Dick, the Sedan Coupe was a Super DeLuxe in 1941. It had a narrow back seat. The code was 11A-72B. The Business Coupe, sometimes called the Opera Coupe if it had jump seats, was the 67 series. The 77 series had no back seat of any kind. Alan

Ford38v8, Thanks so much for the info. Yes, mine is a 5 passenger, short doors, business coupe with the shelf behind the seat. I've seen those coupes with the jump seats and mine doesn't have them. Thanks so much. I wonder how many of the 41's like mine are still out there??? Thanks again.
