I need a cylinder head bushing for the tempature probe on my 59A with Edelbrock heads. I tried Edelbrock tech and got zero help. Currently running an ad in classifieds, but no response to date. Can anyone tell me where I might acquire this item?

Bill check you local auto parts store or speed shop in your area. Most carry the brass bushings for temp sensors, etc. Most often those bushings are a pipe thread so you may even find one at a hardware store.

Bill: C&G shows a head to sender bushing as B4A-10911-A. It is for the later engines, but may work for the earlier senders. Both the head and the sendere use a pipe thread, so the recommendations of looking at a hardware store might work, if they have the brass variety, rather than the steel.

Unfortunately, the bushing has to be flared both inside and outside in order to seal properly. I have one of the straight pipe thread bushings and it leaks water - a lot of water.
