Are u asking about body construction details or model designations?
The Model 40 was for all 1933-4 Fords. Whether they were Fordors [four doors], coupes or Tudors [tu doors] etc.
The pick ups [& small commercials] were Model 46's and trucks [4 or 8's] BB's.
Europe and the UK had small Fords: models Y, C, Eifel, Koln etc

You probably would be well advised to find out what country the car came from...
If the car came from South America, and/or Australia, which is highly possible.. the car would be very similar to the U.S. cars. Available information seems to indicate that the majority of open cars in both of the areas mentioned were made in U.S.A for S. America and Canada for Australia/New Zeland. Some were shipped completely assembled, others were shipped as "knocked down", to be reassembled upon arrival.
Articles I have read seem to indicate that open cars are a variation from the normal, in as much that many of the car company's had factory's in S. America and down under, however they tended to stay away from the manufacture of open cars in their foreign plants.

During the 30s our Fords came from Canada [full size] or the UK.
Most of the bodies were locally built.
