Anybody know the position of the stripe on the abov vehicle? Does it go all around the below the spare tire in the rear or above it, between the trunk(humpback type)and back window?

The stripe runs just below the beltline(about 3/8 inch) all the way around the car. It curves slightly upward towards the hood tops as it nears the front end of the hood side.

Thanks for the info. It was very helpful. Also are the '36 hubcaps striped as well?

There is a 36 Fordoor on eBay right now. The ad states the paint and pinstripe are original. The stripe does not curve up to the hood line at the fron however, as I have noticed on some 36's but continues horizontal.
The item number is 130513505474

My recollection from years ago fooling with original cars was that the stripe was applied by hand, and there was latitude for some variation. It was not unusual for there to be a slight difference from side to side as the stripes were applied by two different workers.

Sorry I missed the second part of your question. The hubcaps are not striped.
