From reading some of your posts it sounds like you have a shop that does V8 work. I was wondering if you could modified a original 35 drive shaft by removing the 10 spline and installing a new 6 spline. If so, could you post your contact information, thanks

Yes, we do driveshaft work. You can contact us at 319/338-7140 (MAS AUTO & MACHINE). My son, Mike, will answer. As I mentioned, last year we did a hollow drive shaft conversion for a customer in Nebraska, after a local shop there tried twice to get it done. The hollow shafts don't use a center bearing as does the solid type, and great care must be taken to avoid vibration. We don't solicit work here on the Forum, as a rule, as I believe that isn't the purpose of the exchange, but try to help those with problems, if possible.
