h*llo, i'm working on my wiper system in my 1946 ford. it's still vacuum type. i need the wiper transmission or linkage witch ever is the best way to word it. i did find a new after market that it says will fit no mods to install the part. does the price of 170 plus shipping seem to high? i also need blades i found new ones for 3.75 each plus shipping. im just not sure what is meant by " hook type". my arms have a pin that goes into the blade. not a spoon looking part they slide on to.

I have attached a copy of the page with wipers from the parts catalog. You can use it to identify the part you need by Part number. 51A-17552 and 17753 may be available from the major parts vendors.

The $170 price seems high to me. Try Little Dearborn, Baxter Ford parts, Dennis Carpenter, etc
