Has anyone seen mag wheels that fit the wide bolt pattern on a 1940 Ford? Who sells them?

Ask Coker for their catalog at 800/251-6336 or www.coker.com. They have a wide variety. We just got a new Jeggs catalog. They have three full pages of wheels. 800/345-4545 or jeggs.com

Many of the mag wheel manufacturers make wheels to fit the 5 on 5 1/2 inch pattern. Check with Wheel Vintiques in Fresno or check with those advertisers you find in Street Rodder or Rod and Custom. With an old Ford make sure you have the correct width and offset to stay under the fenders. Also ask if you can return them if they don't fit your car correctly. Wheels are expensive and you don't want to be stuck with a set that doesn't fit. You will not be able to sell them for your original cost.

You want a custom look without loosing the classic look of the 40 Ford? Try the 1935 Ford wire wheel on your 1940. If you want wider tires, the Coker catalog will have that style wheel that takes a bigger tire.
Your car will look different, but not the 60's look.
The ones I've seen that did this are outstanding.

Whats the problem of the sweet look of the 40 FORD WHEELS with the trim rings,
I think they are hard to beat,
this is were FORD had a better IDEA,
My 3 cents worth 37 RAGTOPMAN
Early JEEPS and FORD pickups have the same bolt pattern
and 40-48 FORDS are the same or very similar, should work,
Any Good tire and wheel dealer, has many wheels and all kinds of adapters. for many different wheels of all sorts of bolt patterns,

  I think I heard that the 5 X 5 1/2 bolt pattern was
used on Ford pickup, vans and small trucks up into the 70's & 80's.
If that's correct you should be able to look for Ford mag wheels at most any supplier.
Can anybody verify the years.
