  I picked up a set of canadian heads pt no. C7RA -60050- B can any body tell me if these were used on releived blocks or a truck head ?

  The "C" prefix usually means Canadian. The 7RA would indicate truck use. Factory aluminum heads on 100HP engines would be unusual, but "downunder" there are lots of unusual Ford differences.

You may not have what you think you have! Do this: flip over the back side of the head and look below the neck. Check if you see the word "Weiand." If you do, you have a set of "cheater heads." These were made in the U.S. during the early '50s for stock car racing. They are high compression heads that masked themselves as being Canadian heads so they could pass as "stock" heads hence the word "cheater."

Check next entry for a better picture picture!

Tell you what I will do for you. If they are "cheater" heads put them in a box and send them to me and I will hide them. This way you won't get into trouble!
