Was curious if dyna beads do a satisfactory job at tire
balancing on the antique cars?? Good or bad? Tubes or tubeless? Thanks

The short answer is NO. Proper balancing covers not only weights, but runout (whether the rim is bent), and the concentricity (roundness) of the tire. The procedure, now almost always computerized in good shops, is the same for both tube and tubeless tires. Now that lead weights have been replaced with steel, balancing requires greater skill.

dyna beads worked in my motor home 19.5 rims but car tires can be balanced on a machine very acuratly
