Good Luck.....Don't forget that you will have to extend the bumpers and spare tire mount. Quite a bit of extra hardware is required to accommodate the Potter Trunk. Ideally, if you find a trunk, all of this extra hardware will be included as in a 'kit' form.

I have a Potters trunk for a 33/34 sedan. I have the mounting brackets but not the bumper extensions. I have the spare wheel mount. The trunk comes with a set of hardware to hinge and lock the lid. It has the faint semblence of the original Potters trunk symbol on the inside of the hinged lid. There is minimal rust in the trunk, very minimal but it will need slight panel beating and obviously paint. The cosmetic "cover" requires repair as on e hole has been "torn" through. I have tried to attach photographs but a pictorial representation of what I have is on page 93 of the "The V8 Affair" by Ray Miller

I need keys for my potter trunk and information on how many 34 deluxe phaetons were produced with this trunk, Thanks to all who helped me with the reprints!

John, Check with a local locksmith, you should be able to find an oldtimer that made keys for Fords. He should be able to pick the locks, remove the cylinders and make keys for them. Tom
