How does one remove and replace the front track bar stud?

Are you referring to the right or left end of the bar? I assume you mean the 3.10 inch stud on the right side. It is part number 21A-5463. You can see it on page 95 of the "green book". I don't recall ever replacing one of those, but usually any stud without threads has to be driven out, and make take some heat to get it loose. Did yours strip the threads or break? I'm curious.

The track bar stud on the right front is extremely rough from corrosion. It's about 25% gone.

I don't know of any source for a replacement stud. The diagram shows the nut to be 1/2" X 20. There are two bushing halves in the right end of the rod that are shown as the kind used on tubular shocks. If you can get the stud out for a pattern, any competant machine shop should be able to make one. Our shop has made all kinds of hard to find items such as the tapered shank ball studs used for shocks. I suspect your stud was damaged when the rubber bushings fell apart over the years, and probably really rattled.
