My '36 has two mounting holes for the radiator on the radiator mounting brackets, do I use the forward holes or the rear ones?

On my '35 Phaeton there are three sets of mounting holes on the frame but only the forward set has the side to side hole width that is the same as the radiators mtg hole width. If both sets of holes are the same width, I would think the radiator should be standing verticle after the radiator support rods are in play.. Did you solve your hood alignment issue??? Didnt you need the radiator in place to mount the hood?? Jim

I found out that I use the rear holes which is what I did originally, still can't get right side lower hood panel to fit.

HI since the pickup used the same frame as the pass car, I would assume that is what the 2 sets of hole are for, I would use the 2 that line up for your application hope this helps,37RAGTOPMAN maybe someone with a 36 can shed more light on this,

You should use the rear set of holes to support your passenger car radiator on the 36 frame. The forward set of holes are for the commercial radiator used on the panel delivery and pickup. See page 69 in The 1935-36 Ford Book.
