I just picked this up today. Guy had owned in for probably 20 years of so it wasnt really for sale but i shot a reasonable offer and he accepted. I lucked out and all the important sedan delivery stuff is there. Just needs some rockers and floorboards and somequarter patches...The rear door needs a bunch of work but its there thank god... so the parts hunt begins

That looks like a Panel Delivery to me. The Sedan delivery did not have the raised belt line. I like your project, but knowing the correct model will make it easier to get help with the restoration.

Here is a drawing from the 1940 sales catalog.

I think it is a Sedan Delivery. The belt line might be just the different color paint under the missing stainless trim. They look big with the fenders off. Here's an example:

was wondering if the sedan delivery had 1 rear door,
verus the panel truck that had 2 rear doors,
I know MODEL A'S were like this, also thought the PANEL TRUCKS were on BIGGER CHASSIS,
but might have changed though the years,
but for sure maake sure you know the model before looking for parts and do your reserch,
just my 3 cents, 37 RAGTOPMAN

I agree with Glen, it looks like a sedan delivery. The panel delivery had a taller window opening on the doors as the roof was taller.

After studying the photo more closely, it is a Sedan Delivery. The paint around the missing trim piece made it look like a raised molding to me. There are several other differences that show up under a more careful examination of the photo.
