In process of restoring 1953 sunliner convertible. Unlike the earlier cars, no detailed guide from the club on this. The upper and lower control arms on the front suspension show evidence of being painted a silver color once. Earlier models were all black. Anyone know what the original color was on thes pieces as well as the rest of the running gear?

My neighbor took apart a fairly original 53 Victoria. It had been undercoated, but all of the exposed frame parts were painted chassis black. The only part painted silver on the front of the car was the lower spalsh pan below the grille.
