When removing the floorboards on my 36 Phaeton, I found a grommet-like piece on the accelerator rod. I don't know if it belongs there. I made up a web page with several photos, so if you have time could you please look at the site and let me know your opinion as to whether this is an original part, or just something put there when the car was redone 22 years ago. Henry, my original '35 fordor sedan has a square piece of felt attached (glued I believe) to the inside surface of the toe board with a vertical slit cut for the accelerator rod. JM This message was edited by JM on 2-4-11 @ 4:55 PM
