The wiper motor switch for my 46 is mounted under the dash. Like that when I bought it. It has inlets for 3 hoses, one large, and two smaller size. It leaks air and needs replacement, but in shopping usual vendor catalogs I find only Ford switches with one hose connection. My switch has no company markings - only patent number and the stamped number 1945. Anyone have an idea what it's out of - or have one lying under their workbench. I assume it's just aftermarket. Thanks

The P/N for your wiper switch is 21A-17470 and was used from 1942-1948. It is not being reproduced as far as I know, but they show up at swap meets and on E-Bay occasionally. I would put a parts wanted ad on this site and on the Ford Barn site and hope someone has a good spare available. Tom

Your basic question was not answered. You do have the correct switch. There are three hose connections to the switch. If you don't have it, I would suggest you get a copy of the 41 to 48 Ford book available from the home page of the EFV8 club. It has a diagram of the windshield wiper switch. Ted

Thanks very much 42. Nice to know at least that the switch is correct. In looking at those in catalog from Mac's or C&G I didn't seen anything that appeared to me to have a 3 hose hookup.

TomO Thanks - I bought the switch you found for me on e-bay. It's the exact same switch.
