Can anyone tell me if there is some sort of connector that goes between the fuel filler pipe and the gas tank on a 1936 Cabriolet. Thanks

the 36 fuel filler neck screws into the gas tank, there is a thin lead washer at the connection. A spanner wrench is used to tighten the round threaded sleeve that is on the filler neck, the sleeve has holes for the wrench. Bob Drake has a photo of the neck in his catalog, 68-9034.
