Has anyone had good luck with a shop doing woodgraining? I am looking for someone to do my dash for my '48 Mercury. If you Ford owners only look at Ford and not Mercury maybe I'll double my chances of finding a shop. Thanks

I have had numerous dashes and window bezels done by Lauren Mately. he's the paint adviser to this club. Each and every piece is stunning and correct. I have had vehicles with pieces done by others and they simply do not compare. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Dobie, I'd suggest you take a look at this site, www.woodgraining.com. Watch the videos and you can see how woodgraining was done back in the day.

Nate, I'm looking to do, or have done, my '34 Sedan in Burl. From the picture, yours looks great. Can you share your guy's info? I'm in N.Cal (Bay Area). Cheers!

Savvy, I suspect that the guy who did Nate's woodgrain was Bob Kennedy in Whittier, Ca. He's a long time V-8 Club member and does great work . Bob can be found in the V-8 Club roster. I also live in Nor-Cal and Bob just did a job for friend of mine and it is really nice.
