Hi, this is my second posting of the same question I asked before the first post completey disappeared? Can someone post a picture of the clip that holds the stainless steel trim on the inner tire cover on a 36Ford? Thanks

Check with Roy Nacewicz 734 654 9450 He may have them in stock or will direct you. It would be difficult for us to remove the spare tire cover, remove the chrome rim and remove a clip to take a picture without the danger of damaging one of the parts.

The stock clips are a T shape that goes through the slot in the cover and with a pliers grab the tab and twist a small amount to secure the clip. The stock clips will work with an original trim ring, but the reproduction trim rings must use the clips provided, since the stock clips will not slide into the trim ring. See photo.

Hi G Tosel, thanks for taking the time and your effort but I was unable to make out what the fastener looks like. The picture was unclear.
Thanks, again. dansford
