lOOKING FOR A 90 DEGREE BRASS FITTING TO COME OUT OF A STOCK 46 - 48 FORD/MERCURY MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP. JUST ADDED A FENTON 2 CARB INTAKE MANIFOLD WHICH CHANGES THE ANLE OF THE FUEL PUMP. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO CONNECT THE GAS TANK LINE TO THE FUEL PUMP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU

Brass fittings of all types are available at outlets such as NAPA. As for the connetion between the fuel line at the firewall an the pump, if the standard flex line isn't long enough, a substitute can be made up at many shops. Due to the movement of the engine on its mounts, a flexible connection is necessary to avoid breakage. We have made a short extension from the flex line to the pump when unusual intake manifolds require it, so that is also an option if your current flex line is in good condition.

You could take the fuel pump apart and reassemble with the fitting ports in a different possition. Randy
