  Were would I tap into power source for radio. Iginition switch,either side of fuse but this is hot always.I thought I read it would damage ign switch if to much current is pulled from there.Were did the original ford radios get ther power from.Thanks Tom

  Connect the radio to the Gauge or ACC terminal of your ignition switch.

  one side of the fuse gets power from the battery, the other side of the fuse only gets power when the fuse is installed. If you are installing an original Ford radio, they were connected on the side of the fuse that gets power from the battery and NOT the side that gets power through the fuse. The original ford radios then have a fuse built into the power wire. You can play the original Ford radio with the engine not running, so you have to be careful enough to turn the radio off when your not using it, or it could drain the battery over an extended period.
