Topic: 36 cabriolet firewall

The firewall on my project 36 cab is pretty much destroyed. The guy who is helping me with the body work thinks we might be better off cutting out the original and replacing it with a good similar one. My question is are there other year and models firewalls which I might be able to use???? thanks Bruce

1935 and 1936 are the model years that should be same/similar. Save the extra firewall supports as they are only on the cabriolets, roadsters and open cars. The "firewall" itself should be the same for those two years. You should have the tall supports although short ones as found on very early '35 closed cars are correct. I believe the inner side cowl panels on each side of the firewall under the hood on the '35 are different from the '36.

The best match to the cabriolet is the three window coupe body if you can find one. Door opening and all. Seat is almost the same.
