  Mick: I missed the "coil" on the photo, so I stand corrected. I still don't have a clue about the use of the switch. It has a logo with "W and B" on it, and what seems to be a sort of animal figure. As it controls the "side", which I assume refers to lights, I would guess that it either was used on a truck or foreign built Ford of some kind.

  It looks like a combination ignition and light switch and probably from the pre-1930 era. I agree with Supereal, that it probably came from a non USA source or a very early Ford.

  Thanks for the info every one,I have been told that it maybe from 1940 to the late 50's for Ford Prefect/Anglia. It seems older to me but i have no idea.

  I agree with the others that it is probably a switch from a foreign Ford. I used to have Model T's and I never saw a switch like that one.

  it also could be from a FORD ARMY JEEP,or TRUCK
I had a few military switches and were very similar,
this is not a MODEL T FORD part for sure,
my 3 cents worth, 37RAGTOPMAN and KEEP on FORDIN,,,
