I just purchased a radio for my 36 Ford Deluxe where is the best place to supply the power to it under the dash? Thanks and Happy New Year. dansford

Use the column switch. The power wire needs to be on a switched source so when the switch is off the radio goes off with it. This keeps the radio from being accidently left on and draining the battery.

Ford wired the radio to the unfused side of the fuse under the dash. There should be a inline fuse in the radio power wire. The original radio used a bit of current and putting that current through the original ignition switch may cause premature failure of the switch.
