You may already know that the Ford part number for the vacuum wiper motor for your 1935 Phaeton is 48-17504-C. But, then again, you may not and that model number may help. I don't know the Trico model number and haven't been able to find it for you. I'll keep searching.

the Trico motor model number is not very important, since you will not find one in the box NOS. If you need the motor I suggest you contact Kent Jaquith at Clean Sweep, he can give you the number. the difference between the 35 open car motors is only the length of the mounting shaft and the wiper shaft and they can be changed to suit. There is a chrome mounting spacer that also varies in length for the different models but it is not part of the motor.

Trico wiper motors are still available NOS. Here are 5 NOS wiper motors alleged to be for Fords with Trico model numbers.
http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=nos+trico+vacuum+wiper+motor+1935&_sacat=&_sop=10&_dmd=1&_odkw=nos+trico+vacuum+wiper+motor+1935+phaeton&_osacat=0&bkBtn=&_trksid=p4506.m270.l1313

Your exact Trico model number I'm still looking for.

Beware of NOS wiper motors, as the packing in them is usually hard, making an adequate seal difficult. Many NOS items I've bought over the years were actually parts that were dealer replaced, with the originals placed back in the box and the shelf. Our most recent was a $250 clock that we had to repair before installation. Given the usual high prices of these things, it isn't always a good deal, even if the seller swears it is new.

It is best you know the details of the wiper motor, and the regulator, you are looking for, so you do not get taken advantage of. There are several guys on E*** that say they have NOS 35-6 open car motors, but they do not. At this time there are NO, NOS or used, 35-6 open car motors an on E*** ! the 35-6 open car motors are very hard to find used, let alone new. A wiper motor can be in unrebuildable condition, so I suggest you contact a very reputable expert, if you want one that works! I have included a photo of a 35 Cabriolet motor, and spacer. The Phaeton will appear similar. Note the motor pictured is original and the chrome plating is thin, both the motor and regulator are chrome except for the connection tubes between the two and the vacuum input tube

You will be able to cut the cost since you need just the one motor on the drivers side.

Aside from the FORD part number already given you, the TRICO number for the original wiper motor assembly was KB-43-1G. Keep a lookout also for KB-42-1G which fits the 1935-36 Convertibles as I think it is similar but has a different shaft length. The older TRICO catalog also lists a Service Replacement for these as KSB-134 and KSB-163, respectively. Do not know how these replacements compared to the originals.

Thank you Lincoln, that is a huge help to have those numbers. There are so many Trico varieties , although the 35 shape is fairly destinctive, the numbers are the key.
I might put and advert on the ford Barn site

If you don't mind, I have a related question of my own...what is the proper lenght of the wiper shaft (body to tip of shaft) on a '35 Phaeton's heart shaped wiper motor ??

Mine measures 2".....if it turns out to be to long what problems would I experience if any ??
