Just picked up a real nice Touring Trunk which I plan on using in the bed of my '46 Ford pickup for tools, etc. Can anyone identify it and offer vendors where I can buy some latches for it? Would like to locate stainless steel hardware as plated will easily rust. Dimensions are 31-1/2" Long x 15" High x 15-1/4" Deep. Rounded corners on top 4 corners, plywood covered with weatherproof material. Also, what's a good cleaner & preservative? Thanks! ! !

Alan, Many thanks for directing me to the site! Great reference & I think I saw a similar trunk. I guess there were so many aftermarket pieces that it would be virtually impossible to know what belonged to what unless it was marked. Now, I need to locate 2 drawbolts to replace the missing parts. So far, no luck on this search. Just finding junk.

Dansford, Thanks for the reference to McMaster Carr. I did stumble on a site with good promise ~ Snyder's Antique Auto Parts, Inc. Check them out when you have time ~ www.snydersantiqueauto.com
