Does anyone have a recommendation for Heater Blower Motor Repair? I need a source for six volt blower motorer repair for a 48?

We just had a heater fan motor quit. Took it apart and it was just the brushes worn clear out. Took them down to the local electrical motor supply, got some that were close but a little big, sanded them down to fit and they worked great - heat again for the winter.

The brushes are the most likely cause of your motor not running, but it could also be the bushings are worn and the armature is dragging.

Google 'small electric motor repair' in your area or 'generator repair'. Typical charges to repair a heater motor are around $75.
