I'm wanting to replace the mickey mouse seals on my doors with authentic original style and need definitive information about those seals, what kind go where and how. What source is there to learn and see all about the door seals so I can get them right? Still Old Henry

Most of the door seals are made by Dennis Carpenter, regardless of who you order them from. If you order the perimeter seals. you also need to replace the two part seal at the bottom of doors, as I recall. It is likely that you will have to readjust the door strikes to compensate for the thickness of the new seals. Check the condition of both the strikes and the dovetails, and replace them if they are badly worn, or you will have problems getting the doors to shut. Be sure to order cement for the seals. The best is probably made by 3M.
